Well it is that time of year again. Time for the BCHC Rendezvous. It seems like the last Rendezvous was just over. Time sure does pass quickly. This is a great annual event put on and supported by all the Units. It deserves and needs the membership support.

I have been coming to the Rendezvous since 1999. This will be my 10th year. I usually have to come for the meetings, but it is not been required of me to stay after those meetings. I stay and hang around for a few good reasons. One reason is I get to meet new people and make new friends. The friends I have made over the past 10 years have become important to me. It is great to meet them face to face and sit and just talk about the past year.

Also the events are great. You look at the calendar of events, I am sure you will see something to get excited about. And the dinners, just walking around and talking to everyone, relaxing and sharing a common interest, sharing the previous year’s “War Stories”, complaints, good times, somehow it makes you feel like you belong.

This is a fantastic annual event put on by you, BCHC. If you have never attended a Rendezvous, I cannot think of a better time than now. I know it is Easter, but Rendezvous is great family fun. If you have attended I am sure you recognize a few of the things I mentioned that makes me want to return year after year. I hope to see you there.
